It's day three of the election campaign and Karen has been out and about in Leek meeting local businesses, canvassing and delivering leaflets with her key campaign pledges.
Today, Karen joined local business leaders in Leek for a discussion on the challenges they face. Karen explained Conservative policy to get the economy moving including the plans to reverse Gordon Brown's tax on jobs and the plans to reduce red tape. They agreed with her that increasing national insurance would hold back their businesses.
The discussion ranged wider, however, and David Cameron's idea to promote the Big Society was very popular.
Later in the day Karen set out with to meet more voters in Leek with Councillor Arthur Rowlands (pictured here).
