Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley was pleased to join in the celebrations at the Leek Christmas Lights switch on.
Karen joined other civic officials in the Parade from the Town Council office to the bottom of Derby Street where the Salvation Army band played carols and the Christmas Lights were switched on.
Karen said,
“As always, it was a real pleasure to join in the Parade and the celebrations in Leek for the switching on of the Christmas lights. The evening demonstrated the great community spirit that exists in the Moorlands with so many people packing the streets to join in the fun and enjoy the music, the fair and the food stalls. Thank you to the organisers and everyone who took part to make it such a special event.”
