Karen Bradley, Member of Parliament for Staffordshire Moorlands was delighted to visit Biddulph Grange Garden.
Karen was given a tour of the garden by the staff who showed her some of the trees that had been there for 180 years and explained what they are doing in order to address climate change issues and how some of the impacts of climate change are already affecting the garden.
Karen then had a tour of the rest of the garden where she was able to admire the beautiful flowers, plants and trees.
Karen said,
“It was really lovely to visit Biddulph Grange Garden yesterday. The staff and volunteers do such fantastic work and it was interesting to hear what they are doing in the garden in order to address climate change issues.
Thank you to everyone who made it such a special visit and also for the lovely tea and shortbread in the new Camellia House tearoom.”
