Karen is calling for anyone with an inspiring story about World War I to share it with the students of Biddulph High as part of her WWI Centenary Campaign.
She said:
"I'm really pleased that Biddulph High have decided to participate in my WWI centenary campaign. The school will be working with Lafarge, an international building materials company with a local cement plant, Cauldon Works, to explore how the business has changed - and stayed the same - over 100 years.
"The students will then produce a piece of artwork using materials provided by Lafarge that will be displayed in public as a commemoration.
"This is a really exciting project, but in order for the pupils at Biddulph High to have the best possible understanding of what life was like for Moorlanders during the war, we'd like to be able to give them the chance to speak to anyone who has an inspiring wartime story to share.
"If you think you fit the bill, or you know someone who does, please get in touch with Sophie Tracey, Biddulph High's Art Teacher. You can call the school's reception on 01782 523 977 or e-mail them at office@biddulph.staffs.sch.uk."
