"Win it for Britain" was just one of the supportive comments from voters today as Karen Bradley and Conservatives in the Moorlands set out their stall for the General Election in the Market Place Leek today.
Hundreds of people stopped to talk to the team led by Conservative candidate Karen Bradley in the Market Place in Leek. Along with local councillors and supporters, Karen discussed Conservative policies for getting the economy running again and explained the ideas she would support to get the Moorlands' voice heard in Parliament.
Karen said: "It's great to finally get the campaign underway. I spent yesterday immediately after the announcement getting the Conservative message out in Werrington and it's been a really busy day in Leek today.
"It's really encouraging that so many of the people we've met have wished us well. Like me they've had enough of Gordon Brown and want to see a change. There is a lot of hard work to do but I'm really looking forward to the rest of the campaign. Most people have been really positive - they can see the Conservatives offer lots of ideas and leadership".
