HM Queen Elizabeth II

I am deeply saddened to hear about the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II. As a Privy Counsellor, I was honoured to meet her on many occasions and receive her wise counsel. She has been a constant in all our lives and it is impossible to imagine life without her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and everyone mourning her. God Save The King

Supporting Moorlands Farmers

I am opposed to the government's decision to impose inheritance tax on family farms and will do all I can to try to make the Chancellor change her mind.  I have always stood up for our farmers and can see just what a dreadful impact this ill thought-out policy will have on family farms in the Moorlands.
