Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley yesterday joined fellow MPs at a meeting of the British Group Inter-Parliamentary Union to mark International Women’s Day on the Humanitarian Impact of the War in Ukraine on Women and Girls.
Karen said,
“I was pleased to join this meeting of the British Group Inter-Parliamentary Union on International Women's Day and especially to be able to speak virtually to some female Ukrainian MPs.”
The Ukrainian Members said they were extremely grateful for the support and to quote Ukrainian MP, Lesia Vasylenko; “This gives us energy, knowing that you are with us and behind us.”
