I was honoured to take part in the Remembrance services in Leek earlier today and am grateful to Mike Robinson for laying a wreath in Biddulph on my behalf.
I attended the service at The Church of St Edward the Confessor, where I was delighted to read a passage from the Bible and I then proceeded to the Monument for the wreath-laying service. It was an amazing turnout and we were so lucky with the beautiful sunshine.
I would like to say a huge thank you to the Royal British Legion and to everyone who took part in this year’s Poppy Appeal - you are helping provide vital support to our Armed forces community and helping to ensure that their unique contribution is never forgotten. Lest We Forget.
