Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley was delighted to hear the news that Leek Show has been saved.
Karen was really upset to hear the news that the Leek Show was to be discontinued. She wrote to the organisers asking what she could do to help and pledged to do all she could to help save the Show as she believes it is such a very important event and a great showcase for the Moorlands.
Karen commented,
"Working to save Leek Show was one of my commitments during the election and I have attended and held meetings over the past few months to discuss the problem.
I am pleased to have been able to put local sponsors and businesses in touch with the organisers and look forward to many more years of this fabulous event."
