Local MP, Karen Bradley was pleased to take part in the celebrations in Leek last week for the switching on of the Christmas lights.
Hundreds of people packed the streets to celebrate and enjoy the music, the fair and the food stalls.
Karen joined the 5th Leek Scout & Guide Band, local school children and civic guests in the Lantern Parade leading to the switch on at the bottom of Derby Street.
Karen said:
"I am proud to be a Moorlander and am always very impressed by the way that all our towns and villages come together to mark significant events.
"This year's event was no exception and I was pleased to have been invited to take part in the Lantern Parade which, this year, was led by two real reindeer."
