Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley was proud to join 5 students from Endon High School at the Parliamentary Reception to celebrate the Engineers of the Future partnership between HM Government, LEGO Education and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
Engineers of the Future has seen the Government’s Year of Engineering campaign, LEGO Education and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) join forces to give more children around the country the opportunity to meet engineering role-models and to take part in engaging STEM activities.
Endon High School was selected by a panel of experts as one of the winning teams in the Engineers of the Future Challenge. As part of their prize they were invited to Parliament to showcase their robot and demonstrate the amazing impact that hands-on learning can have on inspiring and developing the engineers of the future.

“It is lovely to see schoolchildren involved in such fantastic engineering projects and I was really proud to see the team (called End_Tech) from Endon High School with their robot at the Parliamentary reception.”
