Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley has today launched her Community Volunteers Celebration event that she is organising in association with the Werrington Community Volunteers group.
The event will take place on Saturday 12th November 10.00 – 12.30 in the Churnet Room at Moorlands House in Leek.
Karen said,
"I am pleased to announce my Community Volunteers celebration event that I am organising in association with the Werrington Community Volunteers group. The aim is to bring together the many Community Volunteer Groups we have in the Moorlands, for them to network and find out what others are doing and to promote volunteering.
"It is also a great opportunity for local people to come along and meet some of our fantastic community groups who are always looking for more volunteers."
There will be some presentations during the event and also the possibility for organisations to enter for an award. Details of the entry process will be provided to organisations that have signed up nearer the date.
