Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley was pleased to visit Leek Cricket Club last Friday to have a tour of the Club and grounds and to speak to Chairman of the Grounds Committee, Malcolm Tweats.
Mr Tweats had read about the Severn Trent Community Fund and wanted to discuss his idea to collect and store rain water for use on the pitch during dry weather.
Karen said,
" It was great to visit Leek Cricket Club again and discuss their ideas ideas for a better, more economical use of water.
"Thank you to all concerned for the lovely visit."
