Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley recently visited The Stafford Arms in Bagnall and Alton Towers, two of the many local businesses that have joined her over the past months in the hospitality and tourism calls she organised.
Following the easing of some restrictions on 12th April, Karen was keen to visit to see for herself how they are doing and to hear about the problems they are encountering.
Karen commented,
"I was pleased to visit the owner and managers at The Stafford Arms in Bagnall to hear about the problems they have encountered with outside opening only. I know how many local businesses are suffering and really hope that we will be able to go ahead with the next step on 17th May when pubs can welcome back customers inside too.
"I have had many discussions with Alton Towers over the past year regarding partial reopening so it was great to visit and see the measures they have put in place to safely open some of the outdoor areas and attractions. I was also delighted to be able to have a ride on the new attraction Gangsta Granny."
