Karen has visited many churches in the constituency and last week, it was the turn of St Matthew's in Meerbrook.
Karen joined Church Warden June Sherratt, and Verger Jill Goldstraw at the Church to have a look around and especially see the nativity display.
The church held a Nativity Festival earlier in December, and invited local organisations and other churches to lend their nativity sets so they could be displayed over the weekend. Visitors braved the inclement weather to come along and see the fantastic display of nativity scenes from around the world.
Karen commented,

St Matthew’s also holds an annual Flower Festival and Christmas Fayre, and hosts many events in Meerbrook Village Hall throughout the year.”
