Karen Bradley MP, got her point across in Prime Minister's Questions this week. On Wednesday 17th November in what was a very lively PMQs, Karen was able to secure a positive answer about the Government's plans for further education funding that could be so important for Staffordshire Moorlands.
Karen said:
"I wanted to ask the Prime Minister about further education funding because, as I said in my question, I really believe providing vocational education and apprenticeships is going to be vital to improving prosperity for the Moorlands - particularly when we've got to make difficult decisions on government spending.
"So it's good to hear that there will be an additional 75,000 apprenticeships more than planned thanks to the coalition government's policy."
In response, the PM told the House that as well as the extra apprenticeship places there will be additional funding for Further Education and that the government's new skills strategy will support this sector.
