"I have been following the consultation on health care across North Staffordshire and sent a representative to the meeting in Leek.
"I have spoken to Neil Carr, the Chief Executive of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust who has assured me that all the services currently provided at Leek Moorlands Hospital are being maintained at that site and that there is a desire to bring more services to Leek and the Moorlands."

'I think the minor injuries unit at Leek is very, very important," Karen Bradley, from the town, said. She added it would be a "crying shame" if the MIU was not open in the future and that she felt like a decision to shut it had already been taken.'
They appear to have spoken to a different Karen Bradley.
