Sir, It is certainly true that the cold weather has had a lasting effect in many of the higher points of the country (Feb 9, page 13, Snow's on its way again, but in some places it never went away...) including the justly famous village of Flash, the highest in the UK. However, I am compelled to point out that despite the county's many merits, Derbyshire cannot claim Flash as its own.
