Following on from my recent meeting regarding provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in Biddulph, I was pleased to see the Government announce the SEND and Alternative Provision (AP) Improvement Plan.
The plan sets out a number of measures including establishing 33 new special free schools throughout the country, introducing new national SEND and AP standards and streamlining the Education Health and Care Plan process by making it digital, quicker and simpler where possible.
I am keen to find out the views of as many local residents in Biddulph as possible regarding the creation of a new Special School in Biddulph and would therefore be grateful if you could answer the following questions and sign my petition.
