The list of successful projects published includes the following schools in Staffordshire Moorlands:
- Oxhey First School - Major Roofing Refurbishment
- Kingsfield First School - Urgent Fire Alarm & Electrical Services Refurbishment
- Biddulph High School - Water Supply and Heating Infrastructure Replacement
- Dilhorne Endowed CofE Primary School - Roof Repairs, Ceilings and Lighting
- Woodhouse Academy - Legislative Compliance and Health & Safety
Karen said,
“I understand that there were many bids for the funding so am delighted to learn that 5 schools in the Moorlands have been successful in the 2021-22 round of the Condition Improvement Fund.”
The core priority of CIF is keeping eligible academy, sixth-form college and voluntary aided school buildings safe and in good working order. Most CIF funding aims to address issues with significant consequences that revenue or Devolved Formula Capital funding cannot meet and these include issues with poor building condition, building compliance, energy efficiency and health and safety.
