Karen was delighted to support Leek Town play against Kendal on Saturday, playing in their first match back at Harrison Park on the new pitch.
With the support of Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and the Football Foundation, the club were awarded funding for upgrades to facilities including a new all-weather 3G pitch.
Karen said,
“I was honoured to be invited to watch the first match on the new pitch and it was great to catch up with Chairman Jon Eeles and see so many familiar faces on this special occasion.
“I know that players, management supporters and local residents are all delighted that the work is finished and that we can all enjoy our new 3G pitch.”
