Karen was pleased to meet a group of schoolchildren from St Anne's CE Primary School in Brown Edge yesterday in Parliament.
The group took part in a tour of Parliament and a workshop organised by the Parliamentary Education Centre.
As part of their programme Karen joined them in the Education Centre for a Q & A session.
Karen said,
"I am always pleased to welcome groups of Moorlands schoolchildren to Parliament. It was lovely to meet them and I would like to thank them for their thoughtful questions."
