Karen Bradley, Member of Parliament for Staffordshire Moorlands was delighted to visit St Giles Catholic Church in Cheadle recently.
The Grade I listed Gothic Revival church was designed by Augustus Pugin and built between 1841 and 1846 for the 16th Earl of Shrewsbury, John Talbot, who lived at Alton Towers.
St Giles is open every day for visitors from about 8.30am until 4.30pm- 5pm.
