After a busy week in Parliament, Karen was back in the Moorlands on Friday. After constituency surgeries in Biddulph and Werrington on Friday afternoon, she and her family spent a couple of enjoyable hours at the Alton and Bradley Fete on Saturday.
Karen said:
"As usual the organisers produced a great fun event. The village looked fantastic in the sunshine and the fete was full of bustling charm. I can recommend the horse and carriage ride - which even went off road!"
The fete was opened by Phillip Martin Brown - Grantly Budgen in the BBC's school drama Waterloo Rd - pictured here. With Karen in the second picture is Revd Brian Leathers Vicar of St Peter's Alton. Among other attractions the crowd was entertained by the Uttoxeter Hearts of Oak Morrismen.
