Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley was pleased to drop into an event in Westminster to celebrate the many nominations in Great Britain and Northern Ireland including Derby Street in Leek.
The Great British High Street Awards began in 2014 and are now back for 2018. Led by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government, sponsored by Visa and supported by other partners, the campaign celebrates the best and boldest of our high streets, recognising the essential role they play in local economies and community life.
Karen said,
"I am delighted that Staffordshire Moorlands District Council have nominated Derby Street for this award. I am proud of our town centre and all our local shops and businesses and I am sure that we stand a really good chance in this competition.”
