Staffordshire Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley, performed the official opening of the Home Instead business in Leek as they raised money for the MacMillan Cancer charity. Home Instead is a national business that helps people to stay in their own homes.
Karen said:
"Home Instead is a great idea and I was really pleased to be invited to help them launch. They give people one to one support, when they need and want it, so that they can live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
Now that they have an office open in Leek people in Staffordshire Moorlands can get better access to this service. I know that so far 15 people are being helped to stay at home, rather than having to go into care.
"Well done to Carol, who is very ably supported by Irene for having the foresight to see that there was a need for this service in the area and for taking the risk to start their own business. I wish them every success."
Home Instead is a company established to provide help, support and companionship to the elderly to help them stay in their homes.
The Leek business iso owned by Carole Lovatt with with Irene Merrick as Care Manager.
