Karen Bradley, Member of Parliament for Staffordshire Moorlands is organising a Charities Training Session for local charities, together with the Charities Aid Foundation.
Karen is grateful to the Werrington Community Volunteers Group for their help in hosting the event which will take place on Friday 31st January from 13.30 - 16.00 at Werrington Village Hall, 358 Ash Bank Rd, Werrington. ST9 0JS.
The event is completely free of charge although as places are limited, bookings are restricted to 2 people per organisation. Places can be booked on a first come first served basis using the following link:

The Charities Aid Foundation is a charity and a champion for better giving, and for over 90 years has helped donors, companies, charities and social organisations make a bigger impact.
A representative from The Charities Aid Foundation will be running the training session which will include the following topics:
- What are the characteristics of resilient charities?
- How to approach diversifying your organisation’s income
- Making the most of free digital tools – social media and search engine optimisation
- How their Giving Tuesday campaign can engage volunteers, supporters and beneficiaries
- How to improve storytelling in charities
Each topic focuses on top line tips utilising CAF’s expertise and signposts to where attendees can find out more information.
