"I know that many people in the Moorlands are worried about how the Trust Special Administrator's recommendations for the future of services at Mid-Staffs will affect their healthcare.
"There is no one better-placed to answer these questions than the NHS managers themselves, so I have decided to hold a public meeting for people to raise their concerns and hopefully get some reassurance from qualified professionals who understand all the implications of the changes.
"I will be chairing the discussion and I've invited Mark Hackett, the CE of North Staffordshire NHS Trust, Stuart Poynor, CE of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Partnership Trust, Dr David Hughes, Clinical Accountable Officer at North Staffordshire Clinical Commissioning Group, Cllr Sybil Ralphs, Leader of SMDC and Yvonne Buckland, Non-Executive Director at Healthwatch Staffordshire, to sit on the panel.
"The meeting will be held on Friday 7 March, 6pm - 7.30pm in the Churnet Room at Moorlands House and is open to everyone, so if you do have any questions or you just want to make your views known, please do come along."
